Southern Charms Shep Rose Turns 40 Inside His Humbling Year
Southern Charm star Shepard Rose has celebrated his lamented 40th birthday. This last year may have been his most controversial yet.
During the latest season of the show, viewers were very vocal about the elitist attitude Shep had with his co-star Madison LeCroy after he called her a ‘white trash hairdresser.’ He also crossed the line with Austen Kroll many times of his relationship with the working class stylist.
Months later, fans called for Bravo to fire the Carolina royalty after he made fun of a homeless woman on social media and sarcastically responded to followers who called him out.
The outrage was so widespread that it caused him to step back from social media to ‘look inward.’ He returned just recently.
Shep celebrated his birthday on September 28 with close friends and family.
In one photo with co-star Cameron Eubanks. he reminisces: ‘Thanks for all the birthday 🎂 wishes today. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. This picture is from a birthday cruise a few years ago. @camwimberly1 started the cake fight if i remember correctly 🤔. I told my British friend @cameronlawther i was 40 And his response was: “Bloody h*** mate, well done for making it this far!” Hadn’t thought of it that way. I like it. Count your blessings 🙏 etc.’

In another, Rose is smiling with the younger members of his clan as he writes: ‘With all the grandkids (and grandpup) getting ready to feast on this temperate night in the Appalachians. Every now and then one of them bursts into tears for no discernible reason (toy hoarding seems to be the typical culprit) But it’s mostly laughter. Thanks to @hallwines and @waltwines for sending a case for my birthday. ✌️ 🙏.’
